Greensboro, NC July 12th, 2021 – Today, Latino Community Credit Union (LCCU) opened a new branch located in east Greensboro at 106 Muirs Chapel Road. The new branch marks the credit union’s second branch in Greensboro, third in the Triad, 15th branch in the state of North Carolina.
Since opening its doors in downtown Durham in 2000, LCCU has grown to serve more than 100,000 members from 138 different countries. Today, LCCU has more than $663 million in assets and has made more than $1 billion in fair and affordable loans, including to more than 5,500 first-time home buyers.
The new branch in East Greensboro will add convenience to many of LCCU’s current members and ensure that more local residents have access to LCCU’s financial products and services. “We are thrilled to open this new branch,” expressed Hernan Sedda, the new manager, “we serve 16,000 members in the -Triad area and continue to grow quickly. The new location will allow us to continue to offer the highest quality of service to our current members and show new members what the LCCU difference is all about.”
