A faster and safer way to get or send money, directly to the financial institution of your choice.

Receiving a Wire

With no receiving fees, our wire deposits can be placed directly into the LCCU account. Provide the sender or external financial institution all the information below to initiate the transfer:

How to access the information you need

  1. Login to LatinoConnect online or mobile app
  2. Select your preferred account
  3. Click or navigate to account details
  4. Copy the Routing Number and Your Account Number.
  5. Note down, Latino Community Credit Union (6 PO Box 14647
    Durham, NC 27709) and your Address.
Sending a Wire

Take advantage of a faster and easier way to send money anywhere in the US or abroad. Wires are transmitted Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm Eastern Time, with the exception of holiday closings. For a wire transfer to be transmitted the same business day, the wire must be received by Latino Community Credit Union on or before the following cut off times:

Domestic Wires – 4:30pm Eastern Time

International Wires – 3:00pm Eastern Time.

Information Needed to Send a Domestic Wire Transfer

  • ABA/Routing number of the receiving bank
  • Name, address and phone number of the receiving bank
  • Recipient’s bank account number
  • Recipient’s name (as listed on the account)
  • Recipient’s address (as listed on the account)

Information Needed to Send an International Wire Transfer

  • The full name and address of the recipient’s bank
  • The recipient’s name, address, and account name (savings, checking, money market, etc)
  • The recipient’s account number, or International Bank Account Number (IBAN)
  • The recipient’s bank’s SWIFT/BIC code
  • *If you are currently residing outside the US and wish to send an international wire transfer, please complete this form.

Important to keep in mind:

  • There is a $10 domestic transfer fee for outgoing wires 
  • There is a $25 international transfer fee for outgoing wires
  •  There is a $25 international transfer fee for outgoing wires Recurring wire requests may be submitted online via LatinoConnect
  • Funds are disbursed as directed by sender 
  • For multiple wires to the same destination, a recurring transfer can expedite the process. Request a recurring transfer at your local branch

Send an International Wire through LatinoConnect

Follow these steps to send an international wire transfer through your LatinoConnect account:

  1. Log into Your Account online or mobile app through LatinoConnect.
  2. Press the three dots in the top right-hand corner and click on Secure Forms.
  3. Once in the Secure Forms portal, search for the International Wire Request Form. Select View once the form appears.
  4. Fill in the necessary account and beneficiary information in the required text fields.
  5. After completing the form, click the Submit.

 

Once your form is submitted, a representative will contact you through a secure message to follow up on your international wire transfer request.
