Transfer from Your LCCU Account
Quickly and easily transfer funds from your LCCU savings or checking account to make a loan payment free of charge.
How to Make a Transfer to your Loan:
- Login to LatinoConnect online or mobile app.
- Once logged in, click on the loan you wish to pay.
- Select Make Payment
- Under New Transfers, select the LCCU account you’re transferring funds from.
- Then, choose the Loan you’re making a payment to.
- Input the amount you wish to Pay.
- Select a timeframe for your transfer. You can choose to have it completed immediately or schedule it for a later date.
- When ready, click Review.
- If everything looks correct, click Confirm to submit your transfer.
- You’ll see a confirmation screen and the payment will be applied to your loan.
External Financial Institution Transfer
Set up a transfer from an account at another financial institution for a seamless, fee-free loan payment experience free of charge.
How to Set Up an External Account:
- Login to LatinoConnect online or mobile app.
- Once logged in, tap on Transfer.
- On the transfer page, choose Add an External Account.
- From the External Account screen, select a financial institution from the options.
- Enter the Routing Number and Account Number.
- Optionally, label the account with a Nickname to help you identify it.
- Next, select the Account Type—choose between Checking, Savings, or Loan – and click Connect.
- You will see a confirmation that your request to add an external account has been accepted.
- In up to 3 days, two small deposits will appear in your external account.You will need those two deposit amounts to verify the external account on LatinoConnect.
- When you’re ready, return to LatinoConnect and click on Transfer.
- Click Manage External Account and select the external account you recently added.
- Proceed to Verify Account by imputing the Deposit Amounts from the two deposits.
- Click Verify to complete the process.
- If the two amounts are confirmed, your external account will be added to LatinoConnect.
Make a loan payment using your external account:
- Login to LatinoConnect online or mobile app.
- Once logged in, click on the loan you wish to pay.
- Select Make Payment
- From the drop-down menu choose the external account you’re making a payment
- Input the amount you wish to Pay.
- Select a timeframe for your transfer. You can choose to have it completed immediately or schedule it for a later date.
- When ready, click Review.
- If everything looks correct, click Confirm to submit your transfer.
- You’ll see a confirmation screen and the payment will be applied to your loan. Note: The draft from your external financial institution might take up several days to post.
External Debit Card Payment
Make a loan payment using an external debit card for added convenience. Note: A $3.95 processing fee will apply.
How to Pay with a Debit Card:
- Login to LatinoConnect online or mobile app.
- Once logged in, you will need your member number, which can be found under details on your membership share or checking account.
- Copy your member number and return to your dashboard.
- Click on the “Loan Payment by Debit Card” image from Dashboard.
- Paste or Enter your Member ID (7 digits) and the last 4 digits of your SSN or ITIN.
- When ready, click Search and Select the loan you wish to pay.
- Enter your First Name, Last Name, Zip Code, and Email.
- Under Payment Components, verify your loan details.
- Choose to pay the suggested amount due or enter a different amount you wish to pay.
- Under Payment Date, select if you want to make the payment now or schedule it for later.
- Choose your payment method: You can use any Visa or Mastercard debit card from any institution or select Venmo or Google Pay.
- Enter your card details and click Continue when ready.
- Confirm your payment details, then Review the Payment Authorization Terms by checking the box to continue.
- Click Pay to complete your payment.
- You will see a confirmation screen that your payment has been accepted and You will receive an email receipt confirming the payment.
Wire Transfer Your Payment
Send a wire transfer from another financial institution directly to your LCCU account for secure and timely loan payments. Note: Fees may apply. Please check with your external financial institution for their wire transfer fees.
Receiving a Wire Transfer:
- 1. Contact your external bank to initiate the wire transfer.
- 2. Provide your LCCU details to your external bank.
- 3. Receiving Financial Institution Information:

- 5. Complete the transaction through you’re your external financial institution process.
Make a Payment from Wire Transfer
- 1. If your Wire transfer was sent to your LCCU account. Login to LatinoConnect online or mobile app
- 2. Select”Transfers” from the main menu.
- 3. Choose yourLCCU account as the source, and your loan account as the destination.
- 4. Enter thepayment amount and select Transfer.
- 5. Confirm your payment details and complete your payment.
