At LCCU we believe that giving back is another example of our commitment to strengthening the communities we serve.
Our Employees Giving Back program encourages employees to nominate organizations whose values are aligned with ours. Each year, a committee of employees selects one or more nonprofit organizations to receive voluntary employee donations. LCCU provides a matching contribution for employee donations until an annual goal is met, but employee donations can continue indefinitely. Since 2015, the program has donated a total of $213,199.97 to the following organizations:

LCCU Scholarships
Our Scholarship Program plays a key role in advancing LCCU’s mission by expanding access to economic opportunities for all.
Since 2016, our Scholarship Program has supported our members’ academic journeys by making more than 350 awards for over $1 million.

LCCU’s staff commitment to our members is reflected their ongoing support of LCCU’s Scholarship Program.
- In 2024, thanks to the generosity of LCCU employees and a matching contribution from LCCU, a total of $142,500 was invested in the LCCU Scholarship Program, awarding 43 scholarships to deserving students. This collective effort reflects our commitment to expanding access to education and supporting future leaders within our communities.
In 2025, employee contributions and LCCU’s match increased this impact even further, allowing $155,500 to be awarded through the program and supporting 49 scholarship recipients. At LCCU, we are honored to continue investing in bright young minds and helping students pursue their educational goals.
Stronger Together
Stronger Together empowers LCCU employees to support members facing difficult times through collective giving, with LCCU matching employee donations. In 2021, employees raised $1,000, resulting in $2,000 awarded in 2022. During 2023–2024, contributions reached $2,755.24, and in 2025, total giving grew to $5,250.
