Idalia came to the US when she was 15, from Honduras. Although she first lived in Arizona, she relocated to North Carolina in 2004 to be closer to her family, all of whom lived here. Thanks to her brother, who is also a member, she found Latino Credit Union and that same year became a member herself.
From an early age, she understood the importance of home ownership and now as a mother, wants her son to grow up in a house he could call his own.
