Greensboro, NC — On Thursday, August 29, Latino Community Credit Union (LCCU) hosted its Triad Member Appreciation Day, gathering members, families, and community partners to celebrate the people who make LCCU what it is: our members.
The event was filled with joy, gratitude, and community spirit as we marked 25 years of service together. Attendees enjoyed an afternoon of activities including local vendors and artisans, hands-on crafting stations, food, raffles, gifts, and much more.
“Last Friday, August 29, we celebrated our Member Appreciation Day in the Triad as part of our 25th anniversary. It was a day full of joy, unity, and teamwork, where employees and members came together like one big family. I am very proud to have celebrated these 25 years with those who are the reason our cooperative exists: our members.”, said Regional VP of the Triad, Hernan Sedda.
As part of the 25th anniversary festivities, members reflected on how LCCU has played a role in their financial journeys—from purchasing homes to starting small businesses to sending their children to college. The celebration highlighted that behind every number is a personal story of growth and empowerment.
The Triad event was just the beginning. Member Appreciation Days will continue this fall across North Carolina with upcoming celebrations in Charlotte and the Triangle. Each event is designed to bring the LCCU community together while honoring the people who have shaped our success.
