Cuatro hermanas. Un mismo sue\u00f1o. Y una comunidad entera que las ha visto crecer.\nIsis, Carmen, Belkis y Arely Castro Zelaya, mejor conocidas como las hermanas de Catrachilandia<\/a>. Han construido mucho m\u00e1s que un food truck. Han creado un pedacito de Honduras en Carolina del Norte: un lugar donde los sabores catrachos saben a hogar y donde los sue\u00f1os, igual que en Disneylandia, se hacen realidad.<\/p>

Hace siete a\u00f1os, las hermanas comenzaron vendiendo comida desde su apartamento. Con miedo, con sacrificio, con jornadas interminables\u2026 pero tambi\u00e9n con la convicci\u00f3n de que pod\u00edan lograr algo grande. Isis recuerda esos inicios con claridad, \u201cQuer\u00edamos crecer, atraer m\u00e1s clientes. Nuestro sue\u00f1o siempre ha sido un restaurante. El food truck es solo el comienzo.\u201d Y as\u00ed naci\u00f3 Catrachilandia: \u201cDonde tus antojos se hacen realidad.\u201d<\/p>

Hoy sirven entre 200 y 300 clientes al d\u00eda, a veces qued\u00e1ndose sin comida desde temprano por la demanda. Como muchos emprendedores, ten\u00edan una meta, pero les faltaba algo fundamental, apoyo. Ese apoyo lo encontraron en la Cooperativa Latina. Isis lo dice sin dudar \u201cYo estoy con la cooperativa desde hace 25 a\u00f1os. Ha sido lo mejor que pude haber hecho. Ah\u00ed aprend\u00ed mucho. Cuando lleg\u00f3 el momento de dar el salto del hogar al food truck, ellas no ten\u00edan casi nada. Pero la cooperativa s\u00ed ten\u00eda algo para ofrecerles: una oportunidad. Con orientaci\u00f3n, paciencia y la ayuda de Nelly y del equipo de Raleigh, lograron financiar el food truck, comprar una casa, adquirir una van y empezar a construir el futuro que so\u00f1aban. Arely lo resume as\u00ed \u201cTen\u00eda un sue\u00f1o, y encontramos apoyo. El apoyo que nos faltaba.\u201d food truck<\/a>, buy a home, acquire a van, and start building the future they dreamed of. Arely summarizes it perfectly, \u201cWe had a dream, and we found support. The support we were missing.\u201d<\/p>

Las hermanas han visto crecer a la cooperativa desde su primera peque\u00f1a oficina en Durham. Y, al igual que ellas, tambi\u00e9n la cooperativa ha evolucionado con esfuerzo, comunidad y orgullo. Para las hermanas, su \u00e9xito es tambi\u00e9n un homenaje a Honduras, a su ciudad de Comayagua, y sobre todo a sus padres, Do\u00f1a Rosa y Don V\u00edctor, quienes contin\u00faan trabajando y apoy\u00e1ndolas desde su pa\u00eds. \u201cNo nos alcanza la vida para agradecerles por ense\u00f1arnos a trabajar.\u201d<\/p>

Cada plato lleva ese orgullo. Cada cliente, ese cari\u00f1o. Cada meta cumplida, ese sacrificio que aprendieron de ni\u00f1as. Hoy, su siguiente meta es clara, abrir un restaurante. Y, como desde hace 25 a\u00f1os, cuentan con la cooperativa a su lado. \u201cCon la Cooperativa Latina siempre hemos tenido apoyo. Siempre.\u201d Las hermanas Zelaya quieren que cualquier persona que sue\u00f1e con emprender entienda algo fundamental, preguntar no da miedo; quedarse sin informaci\u00f3n s\u00ed. Y sobre todo \u201cSi tienen un sue\u00f1o, no se queden solo con el sue\u00f1o. Luchen por hacerlo realidad.\u201d<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
